Our Story
Active Plumbing has been fixing, replacing, and installing plumbing in Las Vegas homes and businesses since 1991. The company is a fourth-generation family plumbing business, which means the people running it grew up in the trade and learned it from parents and grandparents who did the same work. Several of the owners are veterans of the United States military, and that background shows in how the company runs: clear communication, a defined process on every job, and accountability for the result.
Working in the Las Vegas Valley for more than thirty years has shaped what the team is good at. Valley water is among the hardest in the country, at 20 to 30 grains per gallon, and it shortens the life of water heaters, fixtures, and appliances. Caliche soil and slab-on-grade construction make slab leaks and underground repairs common. Thousands of 1980s and 1990s homes still carry polybutylene supply lines that insurers refuse to cover. Active Plumbing built its service list around those local realities: water heater repair and replacement, whole-house repipes, slab leak detection, drain and sewer work, water treatment, and gas line work.
The company works the same way on a one-fixture repair as on a restaurant grease trap program or an HOA with dozens of units. A licensed technician arrives, diagnoses the problem, quotes a flat price before touching anything, and fixes what can be fixed before recommending replacement. Every job is done by Active Plumbing employees, not subcontractors, and the company pulls the permits the work requires.

Why Homeowners and Businesses Choose Us
Fourth-generation know-how
Four generations in one trade means the shortcuts and the failure patterns are already known, especially the ones specific to Las Vegas water and soil.

What Customers Say
“Our water heater died after 6 years - Vegas hard water destroys them. Active Plumbing had a tech out the same day, quoted a fair flat price before touching anything, and stuck to it. New tank in by that evening, permit pulled, old one hauled off. No upsell, no surprises on the bill. You can tell why they have been around since 1991.”
“Had a slab leak that was killing our water bill. They found it fast with leak detection and fixed it without tearing up the whole floor, which saved us thousands compared to the first quote we got elsewhere. Showed up exactly when they said, explained the price line by line before starting, and the work was clean. Fair and professional.”
“We needed a whole-house repipe - our place had polybutylene and insurance said no way. Active Plumbing gave us a clear PEX quote that beat two other bids, pulled the permits, and finished in 2 days like they promised. Walls patched, everything tested, price never moved from the quote. Quality work from people who know Vegas plumbing.”
