The Arts District, or 18b, is the City of Las Vegas creative quarter around Main Street and Charleston Boulevard, where galleries, bars, breweries and studios fill converted auto shops, warehouses and pre-war commercial buildings.
The Arts District took its 18b name from the 18 blocks the City of Las Vegas set aside for artists in 1998. It now covers about 21 blocks between Hoover Avenue, Commerce Street, Colorado Avenue and 4th Street, with Charleston Boulevard through the middle, the Arts Factory at 107 East Charleston and Symphony Park and Fremont East on either side. The buildings are what shape plumbing work here.
